TxtMyself (txtmyself.com) turns text messages you send from your own verified phones into items on your private list.
What we store
- Your name, email address and, if you use Google sign-in, your Google account ID and name.
- The phone numbers you register and their labels.
- The content of texts you send to TxtMyself, the time they arrived and which of your numbers sent them.
- Email addresses you add to receive your daily summary.
- Billing status from Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Short-lived security data: sign-in sessions, hashed sign-in and verification codes, and hashed IP addresses and phone numbers used for rate limiting.
Texts from unknown numbers
Texts from numbers that aren't verified on an account are discarded. We keep only a one-way hash of the sending number for abuse prevention, for 30 days.
Daily summary email
If you turn on the daily summary, the full text of your open items is sent by email, once a day, to the addresses you confirm. Email leaves our systems and is stored by your email provider.
How long we keep data
Done items are deleted after the period you choose in Settings (90 days by default). Open items stay until you complete or delete them. Deleting your account deletes all of your data immediately.
Your rights
You can export all your data and delete your account at any time from Settings. Contact inbox@txtmyself.com for any other request.
